Marine Pilots are standing at attention near the nose of their aircraft as they are parked on the tarmac at the commissioning ceremony at the Marine Corps Air Station, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, where the Truman family were guests. From a series of 25 8 x 10 photos in a leather bound album showing the Truman's as honored guests in the review and commissioning ceremony of the first provisional Marine air-ground task force, commanded by Brigadier General James P. Riseley, USMC, at the Marine Corps Air Station, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.
