The Truman family were guests at this event. From a series of 25 8 x 10 photos in a leather bound album showing the Trumans as honored guests in the review and commissioning ceremony of the first provisional Marine air-ground task force, commanded by Brigadier General James P. Riseley, USMC, at the Marine Corps Air Station, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.
