President Truman, in dark glasses in the front row, is seated in the reviewing stand with Commandant of the Marine Corps General Clifton B. Cates, at the Marine Corps Training School at Quantico, Virginia. General Harry Vaughan is seated behind President Truman. From a leather bound album of 55 8 x 10 photos of President Truman during his trip to the Marine Corps School at Quantico. Gift from Lemuel C. Shepherd, Jr., Major General, U.S. Marines Corps, Commandant, Marine Corps Schools.
