Former President Harry S. Truman smiles as he cuts a birthday cake to celebrate his 73rd birthday. He was honored at a luncheon by friends in Kansas City, Missouri at the Muehlebach Hotel, and presented with a scroll bearing scenes of his career and signed by several hundred former associates in government and friends.
