To help the sale of U. S. Savings Bonds, a group of over 40 cartoonists and comic strip artists visiting Washington, D. C., sketch President Harry S. Truman. He posed for them in the Rose Garden of the White House. (see photo 73-3181 for i.d. of some of the cartoonists).
