President Harry S. Truman speaks from a platform filled with dignitaries during the dedication of the Tennessee Valley Authority's Kentucky Dam in Gilbertsville, Kentucky. The only identified persons are General Harry Vaughan (visible over Truman's right shoulder) and Press Secretary Charles Ross (visible behind Truman).
