Description

Senator John F. Kennedy at the podium during the Democratic Convention in Chicago, Illinois. He had been introduced by Paul Butler, chair of the convention (at left). Senator Kennedy, from Massachusetts, had been nominated for Vice President, with Adlai Stevenson as the Presidential candidate. From: George S. Zimbel Collection.
