Former President Harry S. Truman is at the podium with New York Governor Averell Harriman on the immediate left (other man is unidentified). The fund raising event for the New York State Democratic Committee was held at the Sheraton Astor Hotel in New York City. 2,408 people attended the $100.00 per plate dinner. From: George S.
