Description

In Boot Hill, a burying ground for gunmen located in Tombstone, Arizona, is a small cross with an epitaph. It reads "Jack Williams Done His Damndest." President Truman said he would like such an epitaph on his grave jokingly in a press conference. Donor: H. Montgomery, Phoenix Republic.
