Description

Senator Harry S. Truman is the keynote speaker at the ground breaking ceremony for the Pratt and Whitney Plant in Kansas City. He is shown speaking at the podium, the sky in the background. Pratt and Whitney later became the Bendix Plant, located in Kansas City, Missouri at 95th and Troost. Donor: Harvey H. Lippincott, archivist of Pratt and Whitney.
