President Harry S. Truman and First Lady Bess W. Truman leaving the ceremony at which Queen Juliana of the Netherlands presented a carillon from the people of the Netherlands to the people of the United States. The ceremony took place in Meridian Hill Park, Washington, D.C. Front row, left to right: President Truman, Mrs. Truman, and Secretary of the Interior Oscar Chapman. Walking behind the Trumans are General Harry Vaughan (left) and Admiral Robert Dennison (right). All others are unidentified.
