Secretary of State Dean Acheson (standing) speaks at Meridian Hill Park, Washington, D.C., during a ceremony at which Queen Juliana of the Netherlands presented a carillon to the people of the United States from the people of the Netherlands. In the front row, from left to right: Prince Bernhard Leopold, First Lady Bess W. Truman, Queen Juliana, President Harry S. Truman, and Ann (Mrs. Oscar) Chapman (right side of podium). Seated behind President Truman is General Harry Vaughan. All others are unidentified.
