President Harry S. Truman with Queen Juliana of the Netherlands at Meridian Hill Park, Washington, D.C., for a ceremony at which the Queen will present a carillon to the people of the United States from the people of the Netherlands. In the front row, from left to right: Prince Bernhard Leopold (obscured by post), First Lady Bess W. Truman, Queen Juliana, President Truman, Secretary of the Interior Oscar Chapman (right side of podium), and Ann (Mrs. Oscar) Chapman. All others are unidentified.
