President Harry S. Truman (at podium) speaks to veterans and others at the dedication of the new AMVETS headquarters at 1710 Rhode Island Avenue in Washington, D.C. Also present on the left side of the speaker's stand are, from left to right, Secretary of the Army Frank Pace and Secretary of Defense Robert Lovett. All others are unidentified.
