During his visit to Tokyo, Japan, Secretary of the U.S. Navy Francis P. Matthews was feted by R.O.N.S. (Reserve Officers of the Naval Services) with a dinner at the Union Club. Shown here with the Secretary are Vice Admiral Charles T. Joy and Mrs. Charles T. Joy. Dates of the Far East trip were November 12-30, 1950.
