Secretary of the U.S. Navy Francis P. Matthews visits Commander, Naval Forces, Far East while at Tokyo, Japan headquarters. Secretary Matthews is introduced to staff by Vice Admiral Charles Turner Joy, Commanding Officer. The tour took place November 12 - November 30, 1950.
