Lt. General Robert L. Eichelberger, former Commander of the 8th U.S. Army in Japan is on the left shown chatting with Mrs. Leslie J. McNair, widow of General Leslie McNair. They are in attendance at a reception held after the dedication of the National Cemetery of the Pacific in Honolulu, Hawaii. The reception was held at the Ft. Shafter Officers' Club.
