This view captures the celebration of a combined Armed Forces Day and "I Am An American Day" held at the Presidio in San Francisco, California. An overall view of the Navy exhibit area on the parade grounds is shown with a U.S. Navy jet airplane visible in the center of the view. Secretary of the Navy Francis P. Matthews was in attendance for the event and was the principal speaker.
