Description

Crew of the World War One German submarine which was sunk by U.S.S. Fanning, lined up on deck of the sinking U-boat. Photo was taken by a sailor on the U.S.S. Fanning. Donor: Frank Freidel, who obtained these photographs from the National Archives.
