This is a photograph of a drawing by Kennelly. It depicts a donkey smiles and waves with a white bandage labeled "Nov 4, 1952" across its nose. At the top is text: "Surrender Hell...We've Just Begun to Fight!" In the lower right is an inscription: "To my Friend The Honorable Harry S. Truman President of the United States with admiration for his fighting leadership. Michael Galvin Under Secretary of Labor."
