This political cartoon is titled "The People of Missouri Understood," and depicts Governor Lloyd Stark after the 1940 Missouri Democratic primary. Published in the Kansas City Journal on August 7, 1940, drawn by artist Cal Alley. The original of this cartoon is in the museum collection of the Truman Library.
