King George VI visits President Harry S. Truman on Board the USS Augusta. He is visiting the President before Mr. Truman's return to the United States after attending the Potsdam Conference. Walking down the stairs from top to bottom are: Captain James Vardaman, Admiral Ralph Leatham, President Truman, and King George VI.
