Description
President Harry S. Truman (far right) enters onto the stage as generals salute and the band plays at the Flag Day ceremony in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, California. Standing in the front row on the right side of the podium are San Francisco Mayor Elmer Robinson, Admiral Chester Nimitz, and General Mark Clark. Also present is General Wallace Graham (second row near center, behind two empty chairs) and Admiral Robert Dennison (second row, just over the shoulder of General Clark). All others are unidentified. From the Scrapbooks of Matthew Connelly, Volume 4.
