Description
This political cartoon by Art Wood shows President Harry S. Truman with wings being set free from the cage which was 18 years of government service. The caption at the top of the cartoon is "Free as a bird!" The cartoon was autographed: "To the Honorable Harry S. Truman with the kind regards of Art Wood, the Pittsburgh Press."
