Where the Twain May Meet. An original political cartoon by Pletcher for the Sioux City Journal. The cartoon depicts a Democratic donkey driving a car in the direction of the Truman Library in Independence, Missouri, and a Republican elephant driving a car in the direction of the Eisenhower Library in Abilene, Kansas. The cars are stopped at a four-way intersection.
