President Harry S. Truman (left) smiles upon meeting King George VI of England (right). The King paid a visit to President Truman aboard the USS Augusta, as the Augusta was preparing to return to the United States from the Potsdam Conference. Also present is Captain James Foskett, Commanding Officer of the Augusta (behind President Truman, mostly obscured).
