President Harry S. Truman (center, right) shakes hands with King George VI of England (center, left) as he boards the HMS Renown. Secretary of State James F. Byrnes (second from right) and Admiral William D. Leahy (right) are following President Truman onto the ship. The sailors on the left behind King George VI are unidentified. President Truman and his party visited King George VI before they returned to the United States after the Potsdam Conference.
