Secretary of the Army Frank Pace (foreground, right) talks with an unidentified man while he is standing in front of the presidential airplane, The Independence. Secretary Pace and the Independence were in Topeka, Kansas to attend the United States Army 35th Division Reunion. Secretary Pace attended the Reunion as the official representative of President Harry S. Truman, a veteran of the Division. Others in the photo are unidentified.
