Description
Small girl with baby buggy with the inscriptions around the photograph: "Home of Bessie Wallace Truman"; "Paxton Home"; and "Kress Home - my sister and me in the buggy". The baby in the photo is Carl H. Kress, who sent this photo to President Harry S. Truman. The houses in the background are on Delaware Street: the Wallace home at 608 N. Delaware, the Paxton home at 614 Delaware (home of Bess' friend Mary Paxton), and Carl Kress' home.
