Mr. J. T. Taylor's collection of soap carvings of all of the Presidents prior to Harry S. Truman. Mr. Taylor, of San Antonio, Texas, wrote to President Truman seeking a portrait of him without his glasses so that he could carve Mr. Truman's likeness.
