Description
Everyone in the crowd stands - Memorial Hall, Independence, Missouri. They are gathered for the dedication of the Liberty Bell. The Bell, a replica of Philadelphia's Liberty Bell, was presented to Independence by the people of Annecy, France as a friendship token. President Harry S. Truman is in the front row, just to the right of the flag on the left.
