President Harry S. Truman leaving the Auditorium of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Independence, Missouri. This is his first trip back home since being sworn in as President of the United States. In the lower left corner is President Truman's military aide, Major General Harry Vaughan.
