Silkworms feeding on mulberry leaves in Mineral Wells, Texas. This photo was sent to President Harry S. Truman by Ernest M. Mims, Manager of the Chamber of Commerce of Mineral Wells, Texas. The city established a silk harvesting and hosiery manufacturing plant.
