From left to right: Verner W. Clapp, President Harry S. Truman, George C. Marshall, and Dr. Harold W. Dodds. Dr. Dodds is the President of Princeton University and presented President Truman with the first copy of the first volume of "The Papers of Thomas Jefferson" at the Library of Congress. The book was published by Princeton University Press. Verner W. Clapp was the acting Librarian of Congress.
