From left to right Major John Eisenhower; David, 7; Mrs. Mamie Eisenhower; President Dwight David Eisenhower, holding Susan, 3; Barbara (Mrs. John) Eisenhower who gave birth to Mary Jean last Wednesday; and Barbara Ann, 6. The newest grandchild remained at Walter Reed Hospital where she was born. This was the Eisenhower's first Christmas in the White House and they posed in front of the Christmas tree in the East Ballroom.
