Officials from the United States Census Bureau and the Department of Commerce attend the Philadelphia Dedication of UNIVAC, the Universal Automatic Computer, the first of its kind. First row, left to right: Miss Nora Cronin, Secretary to Dr. Peel; Miss Helen B. White, Secretary to Dr. Peel; Dr. Roy V. Peel, Director of the United States Census Bureau; Charles W.
