Description
This is a portrait of actress Ilona Massey. Original caption: Cool and comfortable is this summer frock chosen by Ilona Massey, co-starring with Nelson Eddy in Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's "Balalaika". Of silk jersey, the over-all leaf pattern is in purple and white. Miss Massey wears a white chiffon scarf at the throat, a tie-belt of white silk jersey at the normal waistline. The wide-brimmed purple straw hat with grosgrain streamers was designed by Leslie James; the frock, by Kornhandler, Los Angeles.
