Description

This is a commercial photograph depicting the place on the River Jordan where John the Baptist was believed to have baptized Jesus. E. Clifton Daniel, Jr., wrote on the back of the photograph: "Here St. John baptized Christ." Part of a group of photographs originally sent by E. Clifton Daniel, Jr., to his mother.
