E. Clifton Daniel, Jr. (right) poses with Boyd Lewis (second from right) and Horace Deets (second from left) and Edith (last name unknown) (left). Horace Deets was the executive director of the AARP (American Association of Retired Persons). The occasion is not identified but the sign behind the group reads: "Detroit Free Press." Part of a group of photographs belonging to E. Clifton Daniel, Jr. which he used in his book, "Lords, Ladies and Gentlemen: A Memoir."
