Description
President Harry S. Truman ascends a ladder from a hatch of a Northrop YB-49 after inspecting the six jet flying wing at a ground display of Air Force fighters and bombers at Andrews Air Force Base during the Air Progress Demonstration. Standing behind President Truman is his Air Force Aide, General Robert Landry. Others are unidentified.
