Description

Lieutenant General Louis W. Truman (foreground, center of front row) accompanied by other unidentified dignitaries visits the cemetery at Remiremont, France, to honor those who died fighting for the town's liberation. General Truman was in Remiremont to participate in the twentieth anniversary celebrations of the liberation from the Germans on September 29, 1944. All others in the crowd are unidentified.
