WAC Technician (T/5) Marian F. Wilderman of Tacoma, Washington is pictured in front of the sign at the entrance to Fifth Army Headquarters. Wilderman was assigned to the 6669th WAC Headquarters Platoon as a typist in the Quartermaster's office. At the time of this photograph she was stationed somewhere in the Sparanise area, Italy.
