From left to right, Mrs. Margaret Stevenson Truman, Brigadier General Francis Hill and Mrs. Hill, pose for a photograph at Fort Lewis, Washington prior to General and Mrs. Hill's departure for Germany where General Hill assumed command of the 3rd Armored Division Artillery. Mrs. Truman is the wife of Major General Louis W. Truman, Commanding Officer of Fort Lewis. Others in background are unidentified.
