Major General Louis W. Truman (left) presents a Certificate of Achievement to Brigadier General John H. McGee, departing Assistant Division Commander, during a farewell coffee and cake reception held by the staff officers in his honor at Fort Lewis, Washington. The citation praised him "For his outstanding initiative and leadership in keeping the division in a high state of combat readiness."
