Description
Sing Sing Correctional Facility in New York. Stuart A. Rice describes the snapshot: "Prisoner's band in court. Utmost freedom prevails inside the prison yard. Good view of cell house. Cells are cut in solid stone 3 ft. 4 in. x 6 ft. & some inches. Many have 2 occupants. One of Warden Osborne's chief endeavors is to keep them out of the cells."
