Description

This aerial view of the inauguration stand arrangement plans shows the main stand (No. 1) level with and about 100 feet from the president (in circle); stands No. 2 and 3, at the rear of the important guest's seats about 130 feet from the president, and below; two additional grand stands located at the fountains (No. 4 and 5) about 275 feet away; two small stands at No. 6 for a backshot of the ceremony; long overhead backshots from the roofs at No. 7 and 8; and a possibility of additional positions on the roof of the Senate office building and the dome of the Library of Congress.
