United States Ambassador-at-Large Philip C. Jessup (center) and party prepare to board their plane to depart Saigon, Indochina, during Ambassador Jessup's mission to the Far East. Miss Vernice Anderson, Secretary to Ambassador Jessup, and Mr. William Gibson, aide to Ambassador Jessup, can be seen in the far right hand corner. On the left is George M. Abbott, Consul General of the United States Embassy in Saigon. All other individuals are unidentified.
