President Harry S. Truman (foreground, third from the right) and others stand on the deck of the ship Lenore to watch the Navy-Cornell crew races. Mr. Truman has a pair of binoculars around his neck. Also present are Captain Robert Dennison (foreground, second from right), Secretary of the Navy John L. Sullivan (far left), and General Robert Landry (third from left). All others are unidentified.
