Aluminum Plant in Fushun, Manchuria. Photograph taken outside the building originally housing 36 low voltage transformers showing 2 transformers which had been prepared for removal and taken outside the building during Soviet occupancy, but which had not been shipped. (View Number 4). Photograph taken during the U.S. Reparations Mission. Edwin Pauley was the U.S. Ambassador on the Allied Reparations Committee from 1945-47 (the committee that assessed the reparations the Axis powers could afford to pay the victors).
