Mrs. Teresita C. Ward of Honolulu, Hawaii, stirs an ingredient into her jam-and-cake dessert at her cooking station in the Grand Ballroom of the Waldorf-Astoria, New York City, as her entry into the Third Pillsbury Grand National Recipe and Baking Contest. The Grand Prize is to be awarded by Margaret Truman during the awards luncheon.
